Our launder design  eliminates the explosion hazard normally associated with water-cooled copper launders by not having any water channels under the runner.

The copper launders are designed to effectively remove the energy from the runner through the sidewall cooling channels. Therefore, on those occasions when matte burn-throughs occur, there is a reduced chance of explosions.
