ESTEP & FEhS: Slag Workshop

The ESTEP & FEhS Slag Workshop is an event organized by The European Steel Technology Platform (ESTEP) Focus Group Circular Economy and the FEhS Institute focused on the topic "The role of slags and other by-products within circular economy in the steel industry". The two-day workshop, held in Duisburg, Germany, on March 5-6, 2025, aims to address the EU Green Deal's ambitious targets to achieve climate neutrality by 2050. Focusing on resource efficiency and circular economy practices within the steel industry, the workshop will delve into the management and valorisation of by-products such as slag, but also dusts/sludges/mill scales.

Tenova is among the partners of the RFCS InSGeP project, which will be part of the workshop. Enrico Malfa, Tenova R&D Director, and Marta Guzzon, Global R&D Senior Scientist, will attend the event.
