CSU – Screw Type
Tenova, from its consolidated multi decennial knowledge in CSU technology is proposing now also the Screw type version for which Tenova has developed its own versatile design, suitable to handle good range of products and achieving an optimum ration between machine weight and performances.
Overview
Tenova CSU-Screw cover a wide-range of capacities and vessel sizes.
Tenova machines are specifically designed according to client's requirements and incorporate various solutions according to their specific application in particular to optimize and improve environment and safety aspects.
Tenova is specialized in fabricating and fully assembling off site and in shipping to final destination the CSU in a single unit by Heavy Lift Ship (Lo-Lo) or by Flat Deck Ship or Barge (Ro-Ro).
Technical data
Tenova CSU-Screw are versatile machines with:
- Unloading capacity from 500, tph up to 2,500 tph.
- Unloading vessel range from small barges up to 120,000 DWT ship.
Overall efficiency (through complete ship unloading process): ~70-75% depending of characteristics of unloaded material.
Reliability: ~98%.
Availability: ~96%.
Rail spans and Wheel loads based on customers needs: standard value between 10-15 m and 15-40 ton wheel respectively.
Trafo size: from 630 kVA to3,500 kVA
Innovation
Technological innovation is the foundation of the Tenova CSU competitiveness.
Tenova engineering process is the driver of R&D, developing flexible, individual and effective design concept in particular the vertical screw and the digging device are the key to find the ideal solutions for each customer.
By embracing innovation, Tenova is able to offer customer the cutting-edge solution for CSU.
Safety
Employees’ health and safety, in addition to environmental protection, are top priority in the design of a Tenova’s CSU which can be operated also in automatic mode.
With the principle of Zero Harm as an integral part of its own business, Tenova is committed design CSU to a safe working environment.
Automation
Tenova’s CSU are highly automated machines which implement automatic operation for most of the unloading process.
Tenova is continuing to develop innovations in this field in order to be able to reach higher level of safe automation.
Environment
Thanks to a fully enclosed and sealed material path, Tenova’s CSU significantly reduce the environmental impact, specifically spillage, dust and noise emissions and they are suitable to operate in particularly sensitive areas.
Digital
Digitalization is an essential aspect to have a highly automated, safe and reliable machine. Tenova is applying the most up dated digital technology in order to be able to offer products highly connected and efficiently maintainable.
Soon Tenova products will be combine on Customer request with:
Virtual reality simulator for personnel training purpose.
Predictive maintenance based on line monitoring of vibrations and temperatures.
Smart anti-collision system to support remote and unmanned operation.
