Tenova adVISOR
The expertise of Tenova at disposal of field operators through a suite of modern applications, exploiting the best solution of remote assistance and digitalizing all the available know-how only through documents and operative instructions .
Overview
Tenova adVISOR, the digital toolbox for field operators, has been developed to be the daily partner of field operators, making available:
- a comfortable remote assistance environment, fully equipped with latest tools made available by technology to get in touch with Tenova technicians;
- a repository for customer assets and their relevant documentation;
- a maintenance-scheduling tool to assign operators guided procedures and interactive manuals, in order to facilitate their job even if not connected in a remote assistance session.
Moreover, the customer may exploit adVISOR to train his technicians with the detailed guided procedure to intuitively learn how to work on the equipment before being on the field.
Standard kit
The technology deployed by Tenova allows the field operator to connect with Tenova technicians using a secure connection to the Tenova IIoT Platform, where equipment’s data are safely stored for the reference of Customer.
Achieve the best user experience by the employment of the Tenova adVISOR KIT, composed by a selection of devices able to satisfy every requirement that any operator could have and a large variety of activities:
- Realwear HMT-1, integrated with safety helmet, to perform activities on the field with hands-free thanks to the wearable device which allows to virtually interact with an expert technician, record data and access useful documentation;
- Tablet, with protective case for harsh environments, to fully exploit the Tenova adVISOR app for remote assistance sessions, documents visualization and interactive resolution procedure;
- Active Noise Canceling Earphones, which can be connected by Bluetooth to the other devices in order to save communication quality in noisy environments;
- Mobile Wi-Fi Router, to ensure an internet connection even if the plant network is not available or if you are in open field.
Safety
The adVISOR KIT includes safety tools for the devices and also for the personnel who is going to use them, to be compliant with the plant safety restrictions. Furthermore, whenever the operator starts a procedure, safety instructions will be shown by the system as necessary preconditions before starting any work procedure. All the instruction are then customizable according to local regulation and the specific risks of the task described in the procedure.
Digital
The integration with the Tenova IIoT Platform ensures a seamless exchange of data with the plant automation when the cloud connection is established. With this functionality, on one hand the data collected by means of adVISOR can be shared with the management systems of the plant. On the other hand, it is possible to configure key variables of the equipment to be reported also in the adVISOR interface, such that the operator can keep track of the machine status during the intervention even if far from the machine pulpit. Taking advantage of this integration adVISOR could also generate alarm and notify properly the user.
