Tenova Stands up against Gender-Based Violence

On the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, Tenova joins the campaign to prevent and fight all forms of abuse and harassment.

Hundreds of red pairs of shoes without their owners: Since 2009, the installation by the Mexican artist Elina Chauvet has been staged all around the globe to represent the absence of all the women lost to violence. An impactful image that Tenova has chosen for its internal campaign to commemorate the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women by asking its employees to wear something red on November 25. It is a simple action to personally join the call against gender-based violence and harassment and commit to contributing to a healthier and more respectful society.

"In a company like Tenova, where the vast majority of employees are men, we have the duty to stand in solidarity with women in a time when violence against them has intensified. Gender-based violence may be perpetuated in different forms, including sexual harassment in the workplace. Tenova is committed to creating an even safer environment where all employees feel respected and do not suffer gender discrimination"
