On the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, Tenova joins the campaign to prevent and fight all forms of abuse and harassment.
Hundreds of red pairs of shoes without their owners: Since 2009, the installation by the Mexican artist Elina Chauvet has been staged all around the globe to represent the absence of all the women lost to violence. An impactful image that Tenova has chosen for its internal campaign to commemorate the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women by asking its employees to wear something red on November 25. It is a simple action to personally join the call against gender-based violence and harassment and commit to contributing to a healthier and more respectful society.
In line with the UN initiative 16 Days of Activism, the campaign will not end on November 25, but will continue on the company’s communication channels in the following weeks until December 10, theHuman Rights Day, with the aim to raise awareness and disseminate useful information.
