Heat Treatment Lines for Extruded Aluminium Parts
Extruded parts made of Aluminium require individual heat treatment within a narrow temperature window for achieving optimum material properties, low deformation and minimal residual stress.
Overview
Extruded parts are mainly long profiles. They require a final annealing to relieve the internal stresses after the deformation in the extrusion process. Since these parts are of great relevance to safety, the requirements placed on the properties of the components are correspondingly high.
The heat treatment process typically consists of heat treatment at 160 to 240 ° C in one or multiple batches. We install in our furnaces the temperature homogeneity with +/- 3 K.
Our systems, with reversing air circulation in the charge zone, are suitable for particularly even heating by the strong recirculation.
All systems can be equipped according to the AMS and CQI standards.
