Milan, June 16, 2016 - Today, Tenova, worldwide leading provider of technologies and advanced engineering products and services for the metal and mining industries, has signed a new contract on the occasion of the twentieth St. Petersburg International Economic Forum, an annual event that gathers together Russian and foreign large companies, heads of state and political leaders.
The agreement was signed by the CEO of Tenova, Andrea Lovato, at the presence of the Ambassador of Italy in Moscow, Cesare Maria Ragaglini, and the Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation, Arkady Dvorkovich.
The contract involves the construction by Tenova Pyromet of a furnace for the production of metal silicon, with a capacity of 33,000 tons per year, for CJSC Silarus, as a part of the "Silicon Cluster" project fulfillment, in Novoural'sk, in the Sverdlovsk region.
