DTMI 2025, the International Workshop Ing. Carlo Longaretti on Digital Tools for the Metallurgical Industry, will be an international meeting for sharing knowledge and results about the applications of Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Computational Simulation and Data Protection in the metallurgical fields. The aim of the workshop is to provide a platform where researchers and practitioners will meet and share cutting-edge development about the aspects that are ruling the digital transitions. The event is organized by Associazione Italiana di Metallurgia (AIM).
Giovanni Bavestrelli, Data Science Director, will present "Improving steelmaking operations through advanced computer vision and machine learning within the iSteel-Expert Project" on November 28.
In addition, Marta Guzzon, Global R&D Senior Scientist, is part of the organizing committee.
