AIST's European Steel Forum will be held on October 17-19 in Leoben, Austria, where executives from the global steel industry will share their perspectives, insights, obstacles, and strategies for integrating innovative technology and revolutionizing their production value chain. Dedicated sessions will focus on the most recent advancements in CO2-free steel production, sustainable energy sources, iron feedstock, digitalization, and plant designs.
Paolo Stagnoli, our Commercial Director for Electric Arc & Ladle Furnaces, will participate in the panel "Innovation in Steel Plant Design" on October 18, where representatives from major steel equipment manufacturers wil explore cutting-edge plant designs and equipment innovations that are elevating production standards, enhancing safety measures, and mitigating the environmental footprint of the steel industry. The panelists will place particular emphasis on emerging digital solutions and services, along with technologies designed to reduce CO2 emissions.
