Organized by Association of Iron & Steel Technology (AIST), European Steel Forum 2026 will bring together global steelmakers, technology providers and industry leaders for a uniquely international exchange focused on the transformation of the European steel industry amid decarbonization, geopolitical uncertainty, and rapid technological change.
Over two and a half days, the forum will feature executive-level discussions, expert-led panels and research-driven presentations exploring pathways to carbon neutrality, the future of ironmaking and feedstocks, carbon-free energy strategies, innovation in plant design and AI-enabled technologies, and the project execution approaches needed to remain competitive in a volatile global market.
Fabrizio Pere, EVP Downstream Business Unit, will participate in the panel discussion "Innovation in Plant Design" on Wednesday, October 28, 15:30-17:00. In this panel, representatives of the leading technology suppliers will highlight the innovations that they are developing to lower carbon emissions, improve safety and expand capabilities.
