The second edition of the International Steel Rolling Symposium and Exhibition (ISRS), organized by METEM (UCTEA Chamber of Metallurgical and Materials Engineers Training Center), will be held in Iskenderun, Turkey, on September 14-15, 2023. The aim of the event is to discuss all economic, technological and scientific matters, with a focus on innovations. These discussions aim to engage all participants, fostering a visionary outlook on Turkey's current position in steel rolling and its desired future trajectory.
We'll participate in the Symposium with Alessandro Della Rocca, Tenova Italimpianti's Business Development Manager, and Alessandro Sicher, Tenova Italimpianti's Project Engineer, who will present the latest developments in the field of reheating furnaces and burners with a presentation titled: "The Stepwise Decarbonization of Reheating Furnaces – From Efficiency Improvements to the Tenova Hybrid Furnace” in the Energy Efficiency & Sustainability session, on September 15.
