The International Symposium on Hydrogen Metallurgy, launched in 2022, promotes global academic exchange and China’s advances in hydrogen metallurgy and low-carbon steelmaking. The fourth edition will take place in Zhangjiakou, China, from August 19-21, 2026, organized by HBIS Group and the Chinese Society for Metals with several academic and industrial partners. The conference will focus on hydrogen metallurgy - electric furnace short-process technologies, carbon reduction practices, and industry collaboration. It will bring together leading international experts to foster a high-level scientific exchange platform.
