Mineral wool SAF

Tenova Pyromet has designed and installed SAF furnaces to produce Mineral wool (Stone wool and Slag wool) using an electric process and reduce carbon emissions. Mineral wool has historically been produced using gas-coke fired cupola’s, an electrically driven process can greatly reduce carbon emissions.
