TSN Diluted Flame Burners
Diluted Flame Burners are special low NOx side or frontal burners. Their operation provides low NOx emission levels as compared to more traditional industrial burners.
Overview
The TSN burner replaces standard TS burners where very low NOx emissions are required. Due to critical flame stability at low process temperatures, the burner is equipped with a secondary air connection that provides enhanced flame stability and operational safety even at a low process temperature.
Technical Data
Main technical features:
- Internal secondary air connection to provide flame stability and security during the ignition working conditions
- Switching between internal and external air through a dedicated valve
- Air preheating up to 550°C
- Equipped with pilot burner and UV detector, if required
- High flame stability and operation security at low working temperature
Fuels: Natural Gas, COG, Lean Mixed Gas, Mixed Gas, LPG, Heavy Fuel Oil, Light Fuel Oil (and hydrogen mixtures of them).
Turn down: 10%-100%.
Innovation
The special air staging design extends standard flame stability limits typical of side and frontal burners and it also allows for the reduction of NOx emissions.

Environment
120 mg/Nm3 @ 3% O2 for Natural Gas
The emissions are referenced at these operating conditions:
- Air excess 5%
- Air temperature less than or equal to 450°C
- Furnace temperature less than or equal to 1250°C
- Burner load á 80%
The reported value is the expected one. The guaranteed value will be fixed on a case-by-case basis according to furnace type and working conditions.
