The cooperation covers Qlar’s portfolio of weighing, feeding, and material handling solutions for Tenova applications, with an exclusive supply agreement for advanced weighing systems for large EAFs with continuous feeding
Tenova has signed a cooperation agreement with Qlar, a specialist in weighing, feeding, and material handling technologies.
The agreement establishes a framework for cooperation across Qlar’s portfolio of weighing, feeding, and material handling solutions for applications throughout Tenova’s steelmaking technology portfolio. By combining Tenova’s process and plant engineering expertise with Qlar’s specialized technologies, the two companies aim to provide customers with integrated solutions that enhance productivity, operational efficiency, and process reliability.
Within this broader cooperation, Qlar will exclusively supply Tenova with advanced weighing devices for Tenova’s large Electric Arc Furnace (EAF) technologies with automatic continuous feeding control, including Consteel® and Consteerrer® applications. The integration of Qlar’s weighing technology will further enhance process control, operational reliability, and the overall performance of Tenova’s EAF solutions.
