The new Report highlights how Tenova's technologies support the transition toward lower-impact industrial production while documenting the Group's progress across Environmental, Social and Governance priorities
Tenova Group has published its 2025 Sustainability Report, presenting the progress achieved across its environmental, social and governance (ESG) commitments and illustrating how its technologies help the metals and mining industries accelerate the transition toward lower-impact industrial production.
The Report brings together the sustainability activities and achievements of Tenova’s metals business and the mining businesses TAKRAF Group and DELKOR, providing a comprehensive overview of the Group’s sustainability strategy and performance.
Supporting the decarbonization of the metals and mining industries
As industries accelerate their transition toward more sustainable production models, Tenova continues to develop and deliver innovative solutions that help reduce emissions, improve energy efficiency, recover valuable resources and enhance safety.
Featured among this year's achievements are projects supporting industrial decarbonization through Direct Reduced Iron (DRI), Electric Arc Furnaces (EAFs), hydrogen-ready solutions and circular technologies designed to transform steel production.
A further milestone is the selection of TenovaLAB as a European demonstrator for hydrogen-based industrial reheating technologies within the HyTecHeat project, reinforcing Tenova’s commitment to advancing hydrogen solutions for energy-intensive industries.
Measurable progress in ESG performance
Alongside the impact generated through its technologies, Tenova Group continues to strengthen its own sustainability performance through responsible operations, investments in people and enhanced governance practices.
The 2025 Sustainability Report highlights several achievements, including:
- five out of seven European and Italian R&D proposals selected for funding and three new projects launched during 2025;
- ongoing investments in employee development through training, compliance and engagement initiatives;
- further strengthening of governance processes through an enhanced Sustainability Steering Committee and updated procedures supporting transparency and responsible supply chain management.
